Radical court rules "Palestinians" can sue Israel
The Hellenized State of Self-loathing Jews continued its suicidal march to destruction this morning when the Israeli Supreme Court, comprised largely of anti-Zionist leftwing intellectuals, voted to overturn an Israeli law that forbade "Palestinians" from suing Israel for any damages they may have suffered during military operations.
Jerusalem Post - Following a ruling by the High Court of Justice on Tuesday that nullified an amendment to the Civil Wrongs (Liability of the State) Law that was passed by the Knesset on July 27, 2005, granting the state broad immunity from lawsuits filed by civilians for damages suffered in the intifada, nearly 600 petitioners have announced following the ruling that they intended to sue the State. In addition, 550 suits currently frozen will be reopened. The suits could potentially cost the State hundreds of millions of shekels, Israel Radio reported.
A High Court of Justice panel headed by retired Supreme Court president Aharon Barak ruled on Tuesday that Palestinian residents of the West Bank and Gaza could file lawsuits against Israel for damages incurred in IDF operations, provided that the operations in question did not take place as part of a clearly defined "war."
This is the equivalent, of course, to Israel giving the Germans the right to sue the Jews for any damages the crematoriums may have caused to the environment from all the Jew corpses that had to be incinerated during the Holocaust.
Ironicallly, this ruling takes place while Olmert is socializing in Germany with the German chancellor, who currently has forces stationed in southern Lebanon poised to shoot down any Israeli planes that fly within their air space.

Thanks for the double links and props, EOD. We are watching very troubling times, but the fall must happen before the righteous can rise up.

I am the one who should thank you. I am trying to re-evaluate where I want my blog to go, and as I said in the earlier post, these two posts, originally posted by you, are great examples of just what we are up against, in what I believe is the beginning of the End of Days. I agree completely with your assertion that, "the fall must happen before the righteous can rise up", and this realization troubles me greatly. I can anticipate what this may take, and it frightens me, for Israel. The quote, "These are the days that try men's souls", comes to mind. I take no delight in the coming fall, because I know the righteous will suffer greatly during the process, but as you say, "the fall must happen". Things can't continue as they are now !! I'm a country girl, and so I often express things in those terms. The policies of the current government are what we call, in the South, "giving away the farm", and it's total insanity !! The coming days will certainly show people's true loyalties, and make a clear and unmistakable distinction between the righteous and those that are the enemies of Israel, within and without !! We've got to tell anyone and everyone who will listen, and then just "buckle our seat belts, it's going to be a bumpy ride".
