Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Mahdi Army Find a Friend in Iran
We already know how Iran feels about Hezbollah ......A bus takes off from Tehran filled with Iranian martyrs to assist Hezbollah fighters in Lebanon in their battle against Israel this summer. (What ever happened to these suicide buses?)
Iran and Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Mahdi Army - all in the news today.
Iran News is reporting that Iran is giving the Mahdi army millions of dollars in order to dominate Iraq:
Iran has transferred millions of dollars as well as weapons and expertise to Iraq's Mahdi Army.
Officials said the Mahdi Army has become a leading Iranian surrogate in Iraq. They said Mahdi fighters have been trained and equipped in Iran in a move meant to avoid deployment of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps soldiers in Iraq.
"We're having to block Shi'ite extremists from linking with Iran." Maj. Gen. Richard Zahner, deputy chief of staff of intelligence for Multinational Forces in Iraq, said.
Zahner told a briefing on Sept. 27 that Iran has sought to dominate Iraq. He said Iran has been developing the Mahdi Army as well as splinter groups that no longer came under the umbrella of Shi'ite cleric Moqtada Sadr.
And, Turkish media is reporting that Hamas may send fighters to Iran to be trained by the regime:
Hamas representatives were in Teheran on Thursday discussing the possibility of training its operatives in Iran, Channel 2 reported.
Following PA elections earlier this year, Hamas reportedly asked Iran for guidance, instructions and financial assistance as it prepared to take over the Palestinian government.
"Hamas is currently trying to obtain funding from Iran and has asked the Iranians for advice on how they think Hamas should lead the PA," then-defense minister Shaul Mofaz told EU Foreign Policy Chief Javier Solana at the time.
In 1999, the IDF claimed Iran had been training Hamas guerrillas near Teheran for several years to carry out attacks on Israel, after a military court indicted two Hamas members from Gaza for carrying out illegal activities for the movement that included initiating Iranian training.
And... the Supreme Leader in Iran, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, today devoted his entire Friday sermon to the Hezbollah's 34 day war with Israel.

The West needs to hit Iran and their supporters, and hit them HARD! Take out their nuclear facilities BEFORE they develop nuclear bomb capability. Otherwise, many millions will die. These thugs cannot be let to continue their crimes and bribery and evil. Stop them now. Thanks Elaine,

Thanks for your comment !! I agree completely !!! Iran is pushing all the limits and I don't believe it's for nothing !! I believe they WANT to initiate something BIG !! I believe they are deliberately trying to bait both Israel and the United States into a fight !!! Your right, Iran is the one to watch !!!! I think we haven't heard the last out of them, they're up to something !!! Time will tell just what they have in mind, but I can guarantee you one thing, it won't be good for Israel or the United States !!!

Once again, you hit the nail square on the head with what you said needs to be done, and soon !!! I totally agree !! Your so right, if we don't act now, we WILL be very sorry in the near future !! I just wanted to add one more thought to what both you and Aaron have said, I think we need to go just one step further, it's RUSSIA that's behind IRAN, no one seems to want to mention this, not the media, or the Bush administration, or the UN, no one seems to want to point that finger, sooooo I WILL !!! Watch RUSSIA too !!! I believe they're behind IRAN !! I know that many people have excepted the new idea that America and George Bush are the ones referred to in the Tanakh who initiates the Gog-MaGog War, I have studied this through, and I just can't agree !! For decades the Rabbi's have believed that these scriptures referred to RUSSIA and an ARAB coalition, and I still believe this is the correct interpretation !! I know that current events have made many re-think Ezekiel 38, in the Nevi'im, but I still feel the Rabbi's had it right decades ago, when they interpreted these verses to reference RUSSIA, any other interpretation, in my opinion, just does not follow the text !! Please re-read the beginning verses, and see if anyone sees what I'm saying. Persia is the lead nation, listed among the Arab confederation, and that's modern day IRAN !! I say that IRAN IS the one to watch, but please, look a little deeper, and you'll find RUSSIA is behind it all !!! Please let me know your thoughts on this !! I believe Ezekiel 38 is where this is headed !! I don't think, like many Rabbi's have said recently that we've entered the Gog-MaGog war YET, but I believe that is EXACTLY where this is heading !!!! And, one last thought, IRAN couldn't be doing any of the things it's doing, without RUSSIA !!!
